Emily Nelson is a Chicago native and has been a costume designer since 2007. She has designed for opera companies around the Chicagoland area, touring the USA and Europe. She has received acclaim in the Chicago Sun-Times and Tribune for multiple performance designs. She has also costumed for many of storefront theaters and critically acclaimed dance companies.
In addition to her commercial work, she’s also currently designing children’s clothing and commissioned purses and bags.
